The CPSU SPSF is a federated union made up of branches in each Australian state. Each branch represents public sector workers employed by their state government, with coverage depending on your workplace and role.
If you’re not sure which branch covers you, or you work for a national or cross-state agency, get in touch — we’ll point you in the right direction.
Federal and territory public sector employees are represented by the CPSU (PSU Group), which covers the Commonwealth, ACT and NT public sectors.
If your employment is with a state department, agency or authority, you’re covered by your state’s SPSF branch, even if the funding comes from a federal program.
Employees of national regulators and statutory authorities are covered by the SPSF Group through the branch in the state where they work.
If you are in the ACT, NT, or QLD please contact us and we can direct you to your branch.
Yes – absolutely. Send us a message with your workplace and job title, and we’ll connect you with the right branch.
