The Community and Public Sector Union is a registered organisation, under the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009.
The CPSU is comprised of two groups: the SPSF Group (representing state governments and government-owned businesses) and the PSU Group (Commonwealth and territory governments), with the SPSF Group being further divided into branches. The CPSU, each group (SPSF and PSU) and branches have their own rules by which they are governed.
The CPSU (SPSF Group) is led by elected Federal Officers representing state branches across Australia.
The CPSU's Rules are updated regularly and are available for download on the Fair Work Commission website, along with annual returns, disclosure statements, election reports, and financial reports.
